Words can't possibly express our thanks for all you've done to make our TRIP SPECTACULAR. The venues have been perfect and we've loved the golf and the trip around the Peninsula today. We feel thoroughly spoiled! While we still have a great deal to look forward to, I already wish we could come back again. But there are too many other spots that we'd love to experience.
Again, many thanks for all you've done -FAR ABOVE EXPECTATIONS. The two days at Settlers Drift were incomparable. The setting was awesome and the staff was incredible. Our ranger, whose name was Louis, was phenomenal and we had the rare opportunity of seeing a lion kill our first night. Somewhat gruesome but breathtaking. We saw everything that we wanted with the possible exception of a leopard but who could ask for anything more in just a two day stay. We have had a MAGNIFICENT TIME and thank you for your PERFECT PLANNING.

The winery tour was exactly as we had hoped, small – boutique wines with great wines and winemakers or owners who we could talk to about the wines. Everyone enjoyed meeting the wine maker at our first stop as the highlight. I really enjoyed our Stellenbosch day – the Guardian Peak luncheon was superb – probably the best meal I had in S. Africa – at least in the top 3.Our driver/guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and exactly what I had hoped for in a guide. He knows his wines and the local wineries, etc. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!
Our trip to Botswana where we stayed at three safari camps, and our last camp in Zambia near Victoria Falls, were SENSATIONAL EXPERIENCES, more than I and the other seven people ever imagined. It's not easy to conjure up an image of an "African" experience given the size and diversity of the place. Although we were only in the Okavanga delta area of Botswana, we were amazed at the geographical differences in each location as well as the welcoming people, the superb accommodations and staffing that greeted us at each camp. In addition to the Safari experience we were taken with beauty of Cape Town and its surroundings; the majestic views on Table & Signal Mtns, Chapmans drive, the golf courses (Pinnacle Point in particular), and the luxury of the Cape Grace hotel. Our dinners at the 4 and 5 star restaurants booked for us were amazing both for the excellent food and the magnificent views. Icing on the cake for me were the days in Fancourt playing some of the great golf courses that are in that area of the country.
Not a thing went amiss during our visit. Maura (Nolan) being a "native" of S.A. was a very important part of our experience. Her knowledge of the area, the culture and the particulars of each location/experience were invaluable in making our trip exceptional from every view point. Maura and her Team left no detail overlooked and everything we experienced was as "advertised" and "first class."

We are all back home in the USA after our OUTSTANDING "wine, golf and safari adventure" in South Africa. Thank you so much for donating the trip to the Els for Autism Foundation. We had an INCREDIBLE TIME. The accommodations and golf -- as well as the Cape Town tour, wine tasting at the Ernie Els Winery, and dinner at the Big Easy were all EXCELLENT . Settlers Drift was INCREDIBLE, and was the fitting "grand finale" to the tour.Would love to experience another adventure through your firm, either in South Africa or in Ireland!

Safari Golf Tours put together a VACATION OF A LIFETIME for us in South Africa. We flew into Cape Town where we spent a few days enjoying that wonderful city. Then to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek for wine tasting. Who knew South Africa had such wonderful wines. I live near Napa, where we have some of the finest wines and the South African wines were as good.
Then we headed down the Garden Route towards George, South Africa to Fancourt, which is a 5 Star Resort with 3 golf courses. Their Links course ranks #1 in South Africa. Fancourt had it all. We loved our stay there. We played all the courses there and one day "We walked With The Elephants".
From there we headed to St. Francis Bay to stay at the Dune Ridge Country House for a couple of nights. It is run by Sarah and Kira and was a piece of paradise. The rooms were quaint and the food was delicious. While there we played San Francis Links Golf Course where we were hosted by Jeff Clause the CFO. We had a great day playing this wonderful course.
The next day we were taken to Kariega Game Reserve for our long awaited Safari. Our tent turned out to be huge. The only part that was a tent was the roof. The rest was elegant. Our safaris were so much fun and we saw so many animals. We had 2 a day - one early in the morning and one later in the afternoon. On the morning Safari, coffee and tea was served and on the afternoon safari we had wine and/or cocktails and appetizers. Our meals at Kariega were fine dining at its best.
OUR WHOLE TRIP WAS WAY ABOVE OUR EXPECTIONS . WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND SAFARI GOLF TOURS FOR A TRIP TO AFRICA. For us, it was the BEST OF EVERYTHING.

Susan and I enjoyed the trip very much. I thought Pinnacle Point and Simola were terrific. Pinnacle Point has to be one of the most scenic courses on the planet. There were several holes that whose fairways need to be flattened out to prevent a good drive ending in the rough (16 and 18 in particular). The courses at Fancourt were good as well as St. Francis Links. De Zalze and Pearl Valley were below average. The safari was terrific as well as the day trip to Table Mountain and the Cape of Good Hope and the penguin Beach. The food was very good and the prices were exceptional.

The South Africa trip was first class and exceeded my expectations. I have traveled round the world and had the opportunity to have been on many nice excursions, so my compliments are not stated with any embellishments. My trip to SA was absolutely astounding. The golf courses were wonderful... especially Pinnacle Point!!! I loved the wineries and the Automobile museum (at Anthonij Rupert). A special highlight for me was the cute little penguins..... I have so many wonderful photos of the wild animals that I have had many of them printed on canvas. The white lions were really special. The hotel accommodations were very special.

First, just to confirm that our trip exceeded any and all of our expectations. There are so many things that South Africa has to offer that one will ever get bored with a trip to SA. I think the venues you selected were the perfect balance in displaying the many varied excellent things one can do in SA
The golf courses were world class. Hard to pick a favorite. I was so happy we got to play Pinnacle Point one of the most visually stunning courses in the world and should not be missed on any trip. Fancourt is a gem and does not any better and is on par with any of the premier resort in the states if not better. And what a great surprise with the Anthonij Rupert and Els Wineries.Thank you for everything you did in making the trip a success.

We have some great pics of the Gang as well as the animals at Pumba, Monkeyland, and Bird land not to forget all the animal pics in Zambia. Our Safari, Golf and Wine trip provided the most amazing trip ever!! The South African people were so embracing, the geography spectacular, golf courses - breath taking, incredible views from every tee box and green! The vineyards were stunning, the food and accommodations all excellent and the safari - just beyond anything I could have imagined. I would leave to go back tomorrow. I had a fantastic time on the Golf, Wine and Safari Tour! Not being much of a wine drinker, I was a bit reserved about all the wine tastings... BUT, I will now admit to being a wine liker and working on becoming a wine lover. What an eye opener all the tastings were for me. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the different wines and pairing them with different foods. Oh, let's talk about the D E L I C I O U S food!!! Are you kidding me? Everything... the accommodations, the food, the wine, the golf courses ALL KEPT GETTING BETTER AND BETTER. I can't believe how marvelously you arranged that tour. There is absolutely nothing to criticize.
The best part, which you saved for last, was the safari at Pumba. Oh my gosh, I will never forget the excitement, of traveling through the bush looking for the BIG 5, and then seeing them so close, and in their natural habitat was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The White Lions were breathtaking to see and watch. This trip most certainly left me with a desire to return to South Africa for more safari adventures, and to see more of the gorgeous country and enjoy more food, wine and the beautiful South African people. I am so glad I went, and I hope you will include me on your future tours.
